Skybury Coffee Plantation
The second stop in our Tablelands coffee tour. Skybury is something else. The place itself is spectacular. We arrived just before midday and it was breezy and cool. The Skybury cafe/restaurant building is wrapped by a beautiful wooden deck and that’s where we enjoyed our coffee and later also lunch. A short black, a long black, and a mocha. No burnt taste this time (compared to our first coffee that day) but our critics still only gave the coffee 6/10. Personally the whole experience for me rated much higher. I loved the timber and natural surrounds, the choice of music, the lovely loos, the classy but relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, the chocolate covered coffee beans. Well worth the visit.
